Tuerk Conference 2007

(NCADD Maryland)The 2007 Tuerk Conference hosted by NCADD Maryland took place on May 3, 2007 and was a phenomenal success. The theme of this year’s conference was “Women, Trauma and Addiction.” Highlights included a keynote by nationally known lecturer Stephanie Covington, PhD on the topic of “The Addiction/Trauma Connection: A Woman Centered Approach.” Attendees had a host of workshops to choose from on various topics relevant to the fields of substance abuse and mental health.
