The Recovery Leadership Program provides members of the recovery community in Maryland with the knowledge and tools to effectively advocate for themselves and for the behavioral health community.  An overall goal of the RLP is to work with those in recovery to impact public policies and public understanding of the disease of alcohol and substance use disorder, its treatment, prevention and support for recovery.  RLP focuses on education of the public, peer advocacy, outreach and training, and weighs in on re-entry issues, health care reform and behavioral health integration.
